Welcome To PeaceWorks

Peaceworks is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual journal published by the Centre for Peace and Developmentsince 2010. Since its inception, Peaceworks has been publishing meaning research work done in the field of peace and conflict studies including inter-cultural/inter-religious understandings, governance, security, SDGs, environment and climate change, sustainability, gender equality, human rights, migration, inclusion and various other development related issues.

The journal attempts towards facilitating informed debates and tries to bring forth emerging ideas, concepts, theories and practices, policies and methodological approaches, broadly inter-disciplinary in nature and focused towards South Asia. In addition to research articles, Peaceworks also publishes commentaries, project notes, perspectives and book reviews.

The journal is supported and acknowledged by the Indian Council for Social Science Research.
